Mission

The Foundation is dedicated to discovering, nurturing, and promoting exceptionally talented children and youth, helping them achieve their full potential as elite piano performers.

Key Projects

1. International Competition “Pro Piano Romania”

• Annual event since 1997

• For pianists aged 6–30

• Offers young talents the chance to evaluate their technical and artistic abilities in an international context

• Recognized as a leading platform for emerging pianists in Romania

2. Friends of Music / Pro Piano Romania

• Supports young pianists aged 5–18, regardless of institution type

• Encourages participation without pressure from overly challenging repertoires

• Promotes a love for music and early artistic development

• Affiliates: Cluj-Napoca (since 2008), Iași (since 2012)

3. Festival “Pro Piano Romania”

• Celebrates laureates and invited Romanian and international guests

• Highlights excellence in piano performance

4. EMC – Excellency and Merit Center

• Brings together talented musicians aged 5–30 (piano, violin, winds, vocalists)

• Selection based on national and international contest achievements

• Offers opportunities for high-level recitals in Romania and abroad
