Rules and application form at the “Friends of Music
PRO PIANO-ROMANIA” Bucharest
10th Edition, 8 -10 June 2012
I. The event is open to children between 5 and 18, divided into three sections ( A, B and C).
Section A – young people studying piano as the main instrument in music schools and high schools.
Section B – young people studying piano as an instrument option (in schools and music schools) or private system.
Section C – Overall 4 hands (on piano)
For a better evaluation, each of the first two sections is divided into several categories, by the participants’ year of birth:
Cat. 1st – 2007, 2006 Cat. 5th – 2002 Cat. 9th – 1998
Cat. 2nd – 2005 Cat. 6th – 2001 Cat. 10 th – 1997
Cat. 3rd – 2004 Cat. 7th – 2000 Cat. 11th – 1996
Cat. 4th – 2003 Cat. 8th – 1999 Cat. 12th – 1995-1994-1993
For Section C will take into account the age of two members; it is not mandatory to have the same age for both participants.
II. The program will contain one or two pieces, the participant’s choice, with combined maximum between 3 and 10 minutes, depending on the category, as follows:
Section A:
1-4 = 5 min.
5-8 = 7 min.
9-12 = 10 min
Section B:
1-4 = 3 min.
5-8 = 5 min.
9-12 = 7 min.
III: The program mentioned in the application form can not be changed afterwards. Order interpretation of repertoire is at the discretion of participants.
IV. The entry order for the participants is alphabetical within each category. Scheduling on days and hours will be posted online in a timely manner.
V. The deadline for enrollment Festival 2012 is May 25 .
Between March 10 to April 27, 2012, the only way to contact the Administration will be only via e-mail (contact by phone or fax will not be possible).
Registration Necessary for Registration:
· Birth certificate (scanned copy)
· Entry form type – complete with all required data;
· Copy (SCAN) receipt proving payment of fee – 80 lei. For category C -100 lei / set (each 50 lei / person). on behalf of the Foundation “PRO PIANO-ROMANIA” – IBAN: RO85RNCB0074029228740001 opened at BCR sector 3 (not postal) / CUI 9099960 or directly to the organizers (in the period May 1 to May 25, 2012). Required on the proof of payment: the name of the candidate.

The payment receipts and confirmation for the documents will be sent up to March 10th, 2012, or after May 1st, 2012.
Between May 1 to May 25, 2012, registrations can be made directly to the organizers.
In case of no-show at the festival fee is not refunded.
VI. Travel expenses, accommodation will be covered by participants.
VII. Will be awarded the following awards: Excellence diplomas, certificates of Merit, honorary degrees, Special Awards (for each category) that will be hand delivered to participants in the award ceremony.
VIII. All audio-video materials made by the organizers during the Festival belonged to them.
IX. The jury will be composed of Romanian and International personalities from the world of music.
By registering for the Festival you accept these conditions and jury authority.
