Pro Piano Romania Cultural Foundation<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Established in 1996 \u00a0by Stela Avesalon<\/strong>, \u00a0The \u201cPro Piano Romania\u201d Cultural Foundation<\/strong> is a non profit, non\u00a0governmental organization,\u00a0\u00a0with Public Utility Statute since 2004.<\/p>\n

Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Foundation’s goal is to discover, promote, educate and assist talented and highly gifted children and youth – \u00a0the elite of the musical interpreters and piano performers \u00a0– \u00a0to reach their full potential.<\/p>\n

Projects:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Before the most known project initiated and organized by “Pro Piano Romania” \u00a0Foundation, the International Competition “Pro Piano Romania”, \u00a0there were \u00a0multiple participations to national and international contests resulting in \u00a0many prizes won by the members of the Foundation. Also, the Foundation organized numerous concerts and recitals in various locations.<\/p>\n

Since 1997, the annual “Pro-Piano Romania ”\u00a0International Competition<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span> is \u00a0open to young pianists, with ages between 6 and 30 years who are able to achieve\u00a0remarkable\u00a0performances, and are eager to estimate their technical and artistic abilities in an international context.\u00a0From the very beginning, this \u00a0competition has been a great success.\u00a0 Thank you very much for your support!<\/p>\n

In order to serve the interests of as many artists as possible, the Foundation”Pro Piano Romania” \u00a0organized, along with the Competition, other meaningful \u00a0projects : the\u00a0Festival \u201c Friends of Music \u201c, the Festival “Pro Piano Romania” \u00a0and EMC –\u00a0Excellency and Merit\u00a0Centre\u00a0.<\/p>\n

Friends of Music \/ Pro Piano Romania<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Friends of Music\u00a0\/ Pro Piano Romania<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>is promoting young pianists \u00a0between 5 and 18 \u00a0years old who are studying music ( governmental or private); they are encouraged to compete and compare their musical achievements. They are not expected to present or cover a repertoire with a high artistic and technical level of difficulty, in accordance to their age. The Foundation tries to encourage and reward the \u00a0love and interest for music. \u00a0Since 2008, we have an affiliate\u00a0\u201cMusic Friends\u201d \u00a0in Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, Sibiu\u00a0and\u00a0Timisoara.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Festival “Pro Piano Romania<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The \u00a0“Pro Piano Romania<\/strong>” \u00a0Festival is open to the laureates of the Competition, as well as to other Romanian and foreign guests.<\/p>\n

EMC<\/strong><\/h2>\n

EMC ~ Excellency and Merit Center<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0reunites young musicians, vocal interpreters and instrumentalists (piano, violin, winds) with ages between 5 \u2013 30 years, selected and awarded in national and international contests. They are scheduled to participate \u00a0in recitals and shows of a high artistic level, either in our country or other international locations.<\/p>\n
