The XXIVth edition of the International Piano Competition “PRO-PIANO-ROMANIA” will take place this year in the on-line version, with changes compared to previous editions! They refer both to the way of conducting and receiving, as well as to the repertoire, to the timing and judging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both the national and international opening for the contest participants will remain unchanged, as well as the structuring of the contest by sections and categories, depending on the year of birth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I. SECTIONS AND CATEGORIES (by year of birth):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The \u201cPRO-PIANO-ROMANIA\u201d International Competition is open to young pianists of any nationality, born after January 1, 1990, in state or private vocational education, and takes place in 4 sections (depending on the year of birth of the competitors): A (with 4 categories), B (with 8 categories), C and D (4 hands)<\/p>\n\n\n\n II. REPERTORY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n For sections A and B, a study and two different style pieces are required, with the timetables announced below. And for section C and D (4 Hands) only two pieces are needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n SECTION A<\/strong> (one stage) – born between 2013 and 2010<\/p>\n\n\n\n Repertoire: a study and two different pieces in style. Minutes: 8 – 10 minutes<\/p>\n\n\n\n Category A1 – for those born in 2013 (and after),<\/p>\n\n\n\n Category A2 – 2012<\/p>\n\n\n\n Category A3 – 2011<\/p>\n\n\n\n Category A4 – 2010<\/p>\n\n\n\n SECTION B<\/strong> – 8 categories (one stage) – born in the years 2009 \u2013 2001<\/p>\n\n\n\n Repertory :<\/strong> a study and two pieces in different style<\/p>\n\n\n\n Category B1 – 2009 – maxim minutes: 10 \u2032 – 15 \u2032<\/p>\n\n\n\n Category B2 – 2008<\/p>\n\n\n\n Category B3 – 2007<\/p>\n\n\n\n Category B4 – 2006<\/p>\n\n\n\n Category B5 – 2005 – maxim minutes: 15 ‘- 25’<\/p>\n\n\n\n Category B6 – 2004 –<\/p>\n\n\n\n Category B7 – 2003<\/p>\n\n\n\n Category B8 – 2002 – 2001<\/p>\n\n\n\n SECTION C<\/strong> – (one stage) born after 1990 – maximum timing (35 \u2032 – 40 \u2032)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Repertory:<\/strong> two different pieces in style (one can also be a study)<\/p>\n\n\n\n SECTION D (4 hands)<\/strong> – (one stage) and keep the age configuration of the 3 sections (A, B, C).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Repertory:<\/strong> one or two pieces of your choice – maximum timing 5 – 15 minutes<\/p>\n\n\n\n The repertoire communicated by the application for registration cannot be modified later. The order of interpretation of the pieces is at the free choice of the candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The order of entry in the contest is the alphabetical order for each age category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n III. REGISTRATION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n To register you must send (by June 7) the following 3 documents:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Registration form (in excel), filled in with all the required information. For section D (4 hands) the names of both partners will be written on a single form (with the respective data). The form is posted on the Site, according to the Regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Proof of payment of the participation donation<\/strong> (for section A<\/strong> and D(both competitors)<\/strong> \u2013 40 EURO, for section B<\/strong> \u2013 50 EURO, for section C<\/strong> \u2013 60 EURO), will be paid only by bank transfer, \u00a0to the account of the Pro Piano Foundation(in RON), opened at BCR sector 3, Bucharest, Romania, IBAN Code: RO85RNCB0074029228740001, CUI 9099960 OR <\/strong> the EURO account<\/strong>: RO65 RNCB 0074 0291 4862 0010\u00a0\u00a0 (without distances between them),SWIFT CODE: RNCBROBU, for : Stela Avesalon , BCR Bank, Sector 3, Bucharest, Romania. You\u00a0 must specify, on the payment order: The NAME OF THE PARTICIPANT<\/strong> and Contest name \u00a0PRO PIANO<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Clearer, how should a competitor proceed? After filming with his phone (or other device), put the movie into your You Tube account (with the public option), and send the resulting link address to us by e-mail, together with the name, category and repertoire registered in movie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Very important: on Tuesday, June 9 (in the Schedule link – 3rd link of the Piano Competition 2020 page, in the right rectangle), we will display the list of contest competitors<\/strong>, in the order of the sections and categories, where we will also report any comments regarding your documents, or other issues, including movie quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The prizes will be announced after June 15, 2020, on the Contest Website, also in the Schedule link (3rd link of the Piano Contest 2020 page, from the right rectangle). The diplomas will be sent online, by e-mail, to each competitor, after June 17, 2020 V.<\/p>\n\n\n\n V. THE JURY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Jury consist of personalities from Romanian and international musical life:<\/p>\n\n\n\n The jury’s decision are final and irrevocable. From the moment of entering the competition, the candidates accept the present regulation and the aurority of the jury. the whole body of the performer and the piano. All pieces from the repertoire will be sent in a single file, which mentions the competitor’s name and surname (necessarily with diacritics, for subtitling the video and writing diplomas), the category (ex. A2, B3, etc.) and the competitor’s repertoire.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
After receiving your documents, we will confirm their receipt of receipt, also by email. If you do not receive our confirmation, please notify us(it means we did not receive your documents).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
