Since then, this&nbsp; competition has been a great success. Now, we already&nbsp; reached the 26<sup>th<\/sup> edition. Thank you very much for your support!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The annual \u201ePRO PIANO-ROMANIA\u201d\u201d International Piano Contest is open to young pianists of all nationalities, with ages between 6 and 30 ( born after January 1<sup>st&nbsp; <\/sup>1992), who are able to achieve remarkable performances and are eager to estimate their technical and artistic abilities in an international context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Competition has 4 sections: <strong>A<\/strong> ( Junior 1 and Junior 2), <strong>B<\/strong> (with eight categories), <strong>C<\/strong>(between 2003 \u2013 1992)&nbsp;and <strong>D<\/strong> (for piano at four hands). There are additional subdivisions into categories, depending on the year of birth of the competitors:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>II. Detailing the structure of the contest:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>SECTION A (one stage) with two subsections:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Junior 1<\/strong>(A1 and A2)and<strong> Junior 2 <\/strong>(A3 and A4)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Junior 1&nbsp;<strong>\u2013 <\/strong>five minutes maximum<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Category A1 &#8211; born in 2015 (and after)<\/li><li>Category A2 \u2013 2014<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Piano repertoire (three pieces)<\/u><\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>one piano etude(study);<\/li><li>two pieces in different style.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Junior 2 \u2013&nbsp;eight minutes maximum<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Category A3 \u2013 2013<\/li><li>Category A4 \u2013 2012<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Piano repertoire (three pieces)<\/u><\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>one piano etude(study);<\/li><li>a pre-classical \/ baroque piece;<\/li><li>a piece of your choice (other than study or baroc).\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SECTION &nbsp;B<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 eight categories<em>&nbsp;(two stages)<\/em>. The specified minutes is the maximum allowed for stage two (for stage one, there is no mandatory limited timing).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>First Category born in 2011 \u2013 &nbsp;ten minutes maximum for stage two;<\/li><li>Second Category\u2013 born in 2010;<\/li><li>Third Category \u2013 born in 2009;<\/li><li>Fourth Category\u2013 born in 2008;<\/li><li>Fifth Category\u2013 born in 2007 \u2013 fifteen minutes maximum for stage two;<\/li><li>Sixth Category\u2013 born in 2006;<\/li><li>Seventh Category\u2013 born in 2005 \u2013 twenty minutes maximum for stage two;<\/li><li>Eighth Category\u2013 born in 2004-2003<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Piano Repertoire <\/u><\/strong><strong><u>( section B &#8211; &nbsp;two stages):<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><em>First stage (eliminatory examination):<\/em><\/li><li>&#8211; one piano etude(study)<\/li><li>a pre-classical\/ baroque piece: Bach, Haendel, Scarlatti, Rameau etc. In the case of Suites or Partites &#8211; only two or three parts.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><em><strong>Second stage:<\/strong><\/em><\/li><li>a classical piece (J. Haydn, W. A. Mozart or L. van Beethoven): only first part from Sonata, or theme with variations, or&nbsp;Rondo(a stand-alone piece, not a sonata part)<\/li><li>a romantic, modern or romanian piece (only one, of your choise)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Section&nbsp;C<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013<strong>&nbsp;<em>(two stages)<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;born after 1992<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Piano Repertoire:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><em>First stage (eliminatory examination):<\/em><\/strong><\/li><li>two virtuosity etudes(studies) (Chopin, Liszt, Schumann, Rahmaninov, Debussy, Skriabin, Prokofiev)<\/li><li>J. S. Bach \u2013 Preludes and Fugues or two or three moves (parts) from Suites or Partitas<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><em>Second stage (final round of the competition) \u2013 thirty minutes maximum<\/em><\/strong><\/li><li>Recital with pieces of your choice: to choose(for 30 minutes) between classical sonata, romantic piece, modern piece (from the universal or romanian repertoire)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can compete and in <strong>two categories<\/strong>: in the age of the competitor and a higher category, but with different repertoires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SECTION &nbsp;D&nbsp;\u2013 Four-handed ensemble on a piano (<em>one stage)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>First Category<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 born between 2014 (and after) \u2013 2009<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Second Category <\/strong>\u2013 born between 2008 \u2013 2003<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Third Category <\/strong>\u2013 born between 2002 \u2013 1992 (as an age, one of the partners may exceed the limit by one or two years, on the condition the other is up to 30 years).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Piano Repertoire<\/strong> for section D: pieces of your own choise, with the following maximum length:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; first category \u2013 seven minutes&nbsp; \/ second category \u2013 fifteen minutes&nbsp;&nbsp;\/&nbsp;third category \u2013thirty minutes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>III. REGISTRATION :<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Registering procedure<\/strong><strong><em><u>: only online, par e-mail <\/u><\/em><\/strong><a href=\"mailto:propiano@gmail.com\"><strong><em>propiano@gmail.com<\/em><\/strong><\/a><strong><em><u><\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The registration shall include <u>3 documents: <\/u>&nbsp;1. <em><u>Application form,<\/u><\/em>&nbsp;&nbsp; <em><u>2. the receipt<\/u><\/em><\/strong> certifying <strong><em><u>the participation fee<\/u>.&nbsp;&nbsp; <u>&nbsp;3. To follow the data:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Registration &#8211; <\/strong>until May 31, 2022<em>;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Displaying participants list <\/em><\/strong><em>\u2013 June 3, 2022:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The schedule<\/strong> for the competition presentation &#8211; June 6, 2022( at night)<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Other important competition data:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The entry in the competition is alphabetical order for each age category!<\/li><li>The candidates can choose the order of interpretation of the pieces.<\/li><li>All the pieces must be memorized (played without using sheet music).<\/li><li>In case of exceeding the maximum duration set for second stage, the jury reserves the right to interrupt the candidate&#8217;s performance.<\/li><li>All evidence is public.<\/li><li>Transportation, accommodation and meals will be covered by the participants exclusively.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>V. Awards:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>TROPHY \u2013 THE GRAND PRIZE of the \u201ePro Piano \u2013 Romania\u201d International Competition;<ul><li>Five awards in each category, including the first Excellence Award;<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Special awards&nbsp;;<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>The prize for the exceptional interpretation of a Romanian piece or another piece from the presented repertoire;<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>\u201eGEORGETA&nbsp; SANDU\u201d Award;<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Awards from sponsors.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Even if they did not qualified for the second stage or received a prize, all participants will receive a<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participation Diploma (upon request).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All the prizes for this competition will given to the winners in person during the awards ceremony that will take place on June 19<sup>th<\/sup>, 2022, 11 AM at ARCUB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All laureates are required to arrive wearing gala attire at the awards ceremony (please note this is a mandatory rule in order to be accepted in the group).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Special warnings<\/strong>: in case of personal non-presentation at the gala, it is mandatory to delegate another person to pick up the prize. This person will represent and sign for receiving the prize in the name of the competitor. The Foundation will not offer other opportunities to collect the prize (in person or mail if not received during gala).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>VI. The jury of the competition will include Romanian and international music personalities.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Jury decision are final and indisputable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>By entering in the competition<\/strong>, all candidates are accepting these rules and the authority of the jury.
