The International Piano Competition \u201cPro Piano – Romania\u201d, was initited and organized by the Cultural Foundation \u201ePRO PIANO-ROMANIA\u201d in 1997. Since then, this competition has been a great success. Now, we already reached the 27th<\/sup> edition. Thank you very much for your support!<\/p>\n\n\n\n The annual \u201ePRO PIANO-ROMANIA\u201d\u201d International Piano Contest is open to young pianists of all nationalities, with ages between 6 and 30 ( born after January 1st <\/sup>1993), who are able to achieve remarkable performances and are eager to estimate their technical and artistic abilities in an international context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Competition has 4 sections: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n A<\/strong> – Junior(with 4 categories), B<\/strong> – Secondary(with 8 categories), C<\/strong> <\/strong>Professional <\/strong>and D<\/strong> (four hands on a single piano). There are additional subdivisions into categories, depending on the year of birth of the competitors:<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Category A1 – born in 2016 (and after)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Category A2 \u2013 2015<\/p>\n\n\n\n Category A3 \u2013 2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n Category A4 \u2013 2013<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n First Category born in 2012 \u2013 ten minutes maximum for stage two;<\/p>\n\n\n\n Second Category\u2013 born in 2011;<\/p>\n\n\n\n Third Category \u2013 born in 2010;<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fourth Category\u2013 born in 2009;<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fifth Category\u2013 born in 2008 \u2013 fifteen minutes maximum for stage two;<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sixth Category\u2013 born in 2007;<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seventh Category\u2013 born in 2006 \u2013 twenty minutes maximum for stage two;<\/p>\n\n\n\n Eighth Category\u2013 born in 2005-2004<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n First stage (eliminatory examination):<\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Second stage:<\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Piano Repertoire:<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n First stage (eliminatory examination):<\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Second stage (final round of the competition) \u2013 thirty minutes maximum<\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n You can compete and in two categories<\/strong>: the age of the competitor and a higher category, but with different repertoires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n First Category<\/strong> \u2013 born between 2015 (and after) \u2013 2010<\/p>\n\n\n\n Second Category <\/strong>\u2013 born between 2008 \u2013 2004 <\/p>\n\n\n\n Third Category <\/strong>\u2013 born between 2003 \u2013 1993 (as an age, one of the partners may exceed the limit by one or two years, on the condition the other is up to 30 years).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Piano Repertoire<\/strong> for sction D: pieces of your own choise, with the following maximum length: first category \u2013 seven minutes \/ second category \u2013 fifteen minutes \/ third category \u2013thirty minutes<\/p>\n\n\n\n The order of entry<\/strong> in the competition is alphabetical for each age category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The candidates can choose the order of interpretation of the pieces. All the pieces must be memorized (played without using sheet music). In case of exceeding the maximum duration set for second stage, the jury reserves the right to interrupt the candidate’s performance. Copy of birth certificate or ID\/Passport<\/u><\/em><\/strong>,<\/em><\/strong> <\/u><\/em><\/strong>that will be sent(all together) through the e-mail address: <\/strong>propiano@gmail.com<\/u><\/strong><\/a> : <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n This Application form which will be completed with all the required data and definitive repertoire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Please be careful and enter your names correctly (if it contains diacritics), This is how is going to be written on your diploma!<\/p>\n\n\n\n For section D (four hands) the names of both performers will be registered on the same form <\/strong>(with the respective data).<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2<\/strong>. This person will represent and sign for receiving the prize in the name of the competitor.
