The XXVIIIth International Piano Competition \u201cPRO-PIANO-ROMANIA\u201d will take place this year in the online versions and there will be some changes compared to the previous regulations. They refer both to the way of conducting and receiving, as well to the repertoire, to the timing and judging. Both the national and international opening for the contest participants will remain unchanged, as well as the structuring of the contest by sections and categories, depending on the year of birth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I. SECTIONS, CATEGORIES <\/strong>(by year of birth) and REPERTORY<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n The \u201cPRO-PIANO-ROMANIA\u201d International Competition is open to young pianists of any nationality, born after January 1, 1994, in state or private vocational education, and takes place in 4 sections (depending on the year of birth of the competitors): A (with 4 categories), B (with 8 categories), C and D (4 hands) <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n SECTION A<\/strong> (one stage) \u2013 born between 2017<\/strong> and 2014 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Repertory:<\/strong> a study and two pieces .<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n SECTION B<\/strong> \u2013 8 categories (one stage) \u2013 born in the years 2013 \u2013 2005<\/p>\n\n\n\n Repertory<\/strong> : a study and two pieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n SECTION C<\/strong> \u2013 (one stage) born after 1994<\/strong> \u2013 maximum timing (35 \u2032 \u2013 45 \u2032) <\/p>\n\n\n\n Repertory: <\/strong>pieces that fit into the displayed minutes (can also be studies – etude).<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n SECTION D (4 hands) <\/strong>\u2013 (one stage) and keep the age configuration of the 3 sections (A, B, C) \/<\/p>\n\n\n\n Repertory: <\/strong>one or two pieces of your choice \u2013 maximum timing 5 \u2013 15 minutes<\/p>\n\n\n\n The repertoire communicated by the application for registration cannot be modified later. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The order of entry is the alphabetical order for each age category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n II. REGISTRATION \u2013 until June 16, 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n To register you must send (until June 16), the following 3 documents<\/strong>, filled in the same email, to the adress: propiano@gmail.com<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n 1. Registration form (in excel), 2. Proof of payment of the participation donation and 3. The link video.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 1.Registration form (in excel),<\/strong> filled in with all the required information \/ For section D (4 hands) the names of both partners will be written on a single form (with the respective data). The form is posted on the Site, according to the Regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2.Proof of payment of the participation donation<\/strong> (for section A and D(both competitors) \u2013 50 EURO, for section B \u2013 60 EURO, for section C \u2013 70 EURO), will be paid only by bank transfer, to the account of the Pro Piano Foundation(in EURO), opened at BCR sector 3, Bucharest, Romania, IBAN Code: RO65RNCB0074029148620010, SWIFT CODE: RNCBROBU, for : Stela Avesalon , BCR Bank, Sector 3, Bucharest, Romania. You must specify, on the payment order: The Name of the competitor<\/strong> and Contest name PRO PIANO<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3.The link to the video<\/strong> with the filming of the participant\u2019s repertoire, uploaded to your personal (public) You Tube account. Filming must be done with the phone horizontally, positioned right behind the performer and placed on a stand (so as not to move), and in filming it must to seen the whole body of the performer and the piano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n All pieces from the video-repertoire will be sent or<\/strong> in a single file, or <\/strong>separated, but all must have the 3 mentions: the competitor\u2019s name and surname<\/strong> , the category<\/strong> (ex. A2, B3, etc.) the composer name end the piece title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Clearer, how should a competitor proceed? After filming with his phone (or other device), put the movie into your You Tube account (with the public option<\/strong>), and send the resulting link address<\/strong> to us by e-mail, together with the name, category and repertoire registered in movie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After receiving your documents, we will confirm their receipt of receipt, also by email. If you do not receive our confirmation, please notify us(it means we did not receive your documents).<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n III. AWARDS: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 5 awards in each category: First Prize I, II, III, IV, V, including the First Prize of Excellence; numerous special prizes, such as: for the interpretation of the repertoire or only of a certain piece from the repertoire, for musicality, technical realization, for the best interpretation of a Romanian piece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There are also:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Special Prizes: \u2013 the TROPHY <\/strong>(GRAND PRIZE<\/strong>) of the International Competition \u201ePRO PIANO-ROMANIA\u201d<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2013 \u201cGeorgeta Sandu\u201d<\/strong> Award, offered by pianist Constantin Sandu – Porto\/ Portugal<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n – \u201ePRO PIANO-ROMANIA\u201d Award, offered by Cultural Foudation \u201ePRO PIANO-ROMANIA\u201d- Stela Avesalon<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The prizes will be announced Thursday June 20, 2024,<\/strong> in the Schedule link<\/strong> (3rd link of the Piano Contest 2024 page). The diplomas will be sent online, by e-mail, to each competitor, in the following week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n IV. JURY<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n Jury consist of personalities from Romanian and International musical life:<\/p>\n\n\n\n The jury\u2019s decision are final and irrevocable. From the moment of entering the competition, the candidates accept the present regulation and the aurority of the jury.
