Rules and application form at the “Friends of Music”<\/h2>\n

PRO PIANO-ROMANIA” Cluj-Napoca<\/h2>\n

5th edition, 2 to 4 March 2012<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

I. The event is open to children between 5 and 18, \u00a0and it is divided into three sections (A, B, C).<\/p>\n

Section A – for \u00a0young people studying piano as the main instrument in music schools and high schools<\/p>\n

Section B – for young people studying piano as an instrument option (in schools and music schools) or private system.<\/p>\n

Section C – overall 4 hands (on piano)<\/p>\n

II. For a better evaluation, each of sections A and B is divided into 12 categories, depending on year of birth of participants:<\/p>\n

Cat. 1-A \u2013 2007, 2006\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cat. 5th \u2013 2002\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cat. 9th \u2013 1998<\/p>\n

Cat. 2nd \u2013 2005\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cat.\u00a0 6th \u2013 2001\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cat.\u00a0\u00a0 10 th \u2013 1997<\/p>\n

Cat. 3rd \u2013 2004\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cat. 7th \u2013 2000\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Cat. 11th \u2013 1996<\/p>\n

Cat. 4th \u2013 2003\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cat. 8th \u2013 1999\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 Cat. 12th \u2013 1995-1994-1993<\/p>\n

For Section C will take into account the age of two members belonging to the same category is not mandatory.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

III. Repertoire will include one or two papers in choosing participants and will be played from memory, to the following maximum periods:<\/p>\n

Cat.\u00a01-4 = 3\u2032\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Cat.\u00a09-10 = 10 \u2018<\/p>\n

Cat.\u00a05 -8 =6 \u2018\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cat.\u00a011-12 = 15 \u2018<\/p>\n

For section C, the maximum age may correspond to the oldest participant.<\/p>\n

IV. The program referred to in the application form can not be changed afterwards. The order the musical program is played it is up to the participants.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

V. The order of the presentation of the Festival is alphabetical within each category.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

VI. Deadline:\u00a0enrolments\u00a0are accepted up to 10 February 2012.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Registration<\/h2>\n

– Fee: 50 lei<\/p>\n

Registrations are made directly to the organizers – Prof. Mrs. Cornelia Batranca or via the email at: arpeggione_dp@yahoo.com (for Mrs. Cornelia Batranca).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fees:<\/strong> \u00a0paid on behalf of Pro Piano Foundation, opened at BCR sector 3 Bucharest, IBAN code: RO85RNCB0074029228740001 \/ WHO 9099960 (in this case, a copy of the receipt shall be submitted together with the other two acts).<\/strong><\/p>\n

*If assemblies in four hands, two participants data will be mentioned in the same form and fee will total 50 lei \/ assembly.<\/p>\n

In case of no show, the fee is not refunded.<\/strong><\/p>\n

VII. Travel expenses, accommodation will be borne by participants.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

VIII. Awards<\/strong>: the following awards will be awarded for each category: Diplomas of merit, excellence and special diplomas: Best Performance by a Romanian pieces, JS Bach Prize, Award Fr. Liszt prize, Ecce homo, Arpeggione Award, Foundation Award “PRO PIANO-ROMANIA” special prize for artistic presence, etc..<\/p>\n

Diplomas and prizes will be handed the award ceremony as planned which will be announced in due course.<\/p>\n

IX. The jur<\/strong>y will be composed of Romanian music and pedagogy\u00a0personalities. All audio-video materials or otherwise made by the organizers during the Festival\u00a0\u00a0belonging to them. By registering for the Festival, you, the \u00a0candidates, accept \u00a0all the conditions, and jury authority.<\/p>\n
