“Friends of Music \u00a0PRO PIANO-ROMANIA” Iasi<\/h2>\n

1st Edition, 10 -12 February 2012<\/p>\n

\n

I. This event is open to young people between 5-18 \u00a0years old and it is divided into three sections (A, B, C).<\/p>\n

A. Students studying piano in music schools and high schools<\/p>\n

B. Students studying piano as a secondary instrument in music schools and high schools or private sector<\/p>\n

C. \u00a04 hands<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

II.\u00a0Sections A and B are divided into the following age groups according to the year of birth:<\/p>\n

Cat.\u00a01-A – 2007, 2006 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 Cat.\u00a05th – 2002 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cat.\u00a09th – 1998<\/p>\n

Cat.\u00a02nd – 2005\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cat. \u00a06th – 2001\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Cat. \u00a0 10 th – 1997<\/p>\n

Cat.\u00a03rd – 2004 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cat.\u00a07th – 2000\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cat.\u00a011th – 1996<\/p>\n

Cat.\u00a04th – 2003\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Cat.\u00a08th – 1999\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Cat.\u00a012th – 1995-1994-1993<\/p>\n

For Section C (4 hands) the competitors don’t have to be of the same age.<\/p>\n

III. The repertoire will include one or two scores selected by the \u00a0participants (will be interpreted from the<\/p>\n

memory. The maximum time allowed is as follows:<\/p>\n

Cat.\u00a01-4 = 5′\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cat.\u00a09-10 = 10 ‘<\/p>\n

Cat.\u00a05 -8 = 7 ‘\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cat.\u00a011-12 = 15 ‘<\/p>\n

For section C, the maximum age may correspond to the oldest participant.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

IV. The program referred to in the application form can not be changed afterwards. The order that the chosen program is played is decided by the participants.<\/p>\n

V. The competitors will be in alphabetical order under the section and category.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

VI. Deadline: participants must submit \u00a0no later than February 1, 2012<\/strong>\u00a0 by post at the National College of Art “Octav Bancila” Iasi, Cuza Voda street, no.\u00a029, by fax – to no.\u00a00232-276087 , by e-mail to festivalpropiano.iasi @ yahoo.com or directly to the organizers, the following documents for registration:<\/p>\n

– Copy of birth certificate or identity card<\/p>\n

– The application form, complete with all data<\/p>\n

– Receipt representing payment fee of 50 lei, the amount will be deposited in the account: BCR IASI RO70RNCBO178070840250001<\/p>\n

For \u00a04 hands section, \u00a0the data of two participants will be listed on the same form and fee will be 50 lei.<\/p>\n

In case of no show, the \u00a0fee is not refunded.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

VII.\u00a0Solving problems of transport, accommodation and associated costs rests entirely with the participants.\u00a0Upon request, you can make reservations at the home of the National College of Art “Octav Bancila” .<\/p>\n

VIII.\u00a0The following awards will be awarded for each category: Diplomas of merit, excellence (corresponding prizes III, II and I) and special diplomas: Best Performance by a Romanian pieces, JS Bach Prize, the prize Fr\u00a0.\u00a0Liszt, the prize for special artistic presence, prize sponsors (with the approval of the jury). \u00a0Diplomas and prizes will be handed during the award ceremony, which will take place twice daily, according to schedules announced in advance.<\/p>\n

IX.\u00a0The jury will be composed of Romanian music \u00a0personalities. \u00a0All audio-video materials \u00a0made by the organizers during the Festival, belong to\u00a0them. By registering, the candidates accept these conditions and jury authority.<\/p>\n
