Rules and application form at the “Friends of Music<\/h2>\n

PRO PIANO-ROMANIA” Bucharest<\/h2>\n

10th Edition, 8 -10 June 2012<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I. The event is open to children between 5 and 18, divided into three sections ( A, B and C).<\/p>\n

Section A – young people studying piano as the main instrument in music schools and high schools.<\/p>\n

Section B – young people studying piano as an instrument option (in schools and music schools) or private system.<\/p>\n

Section C – Overall 4 hands (on piano)<\/p>\n

For a better evaluation, each of the first two sections is divided into several categories, by the\u00a0participants’ \u00a0year of birth:<\/p>\n

For Section C will take into account the age of two members; it is not mandatory to have the same age for both participants.<\/p>\n

II. The program will contain one or two<\/strong> pieces, the participant’s choice, with combined maximum between 3 and 10 minutes, depending on the category, as follows:<\/p>\n

Section A:<\/p>\n

1-4 = 5 min.<\/p>\n

5-8 = 7 min.<\/p>\n

9-12 = 10 min<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Section B:<\/p>\n

1-4 = 3 min.<\/p>\n

5-8 = 5 min.<\/p>\n

9-12 = 7 min.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

III: The program mentioned in the application form can not be changed afterwards. Order interpretation of repertoire \u00a0is at the discretion of participants.<\/p>\n

IV. The entry order for the participants \u00a0is alphabetical within each category. Scheduling \u00a0on days and hours will be posted online in a timely manner.<\/p>\n

V. The deadline for enrollment Festival 2012 is May 25 .<\/strong><\/p>\n

Between March 10 to April 27, 2012, the only way to contact the Administration will be only via e-mail (contact by phone or fax will not be possible).<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Birth certificate (scanned copy)<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Entry form type – complete with all required data;<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Copy (SCAN) receipt proving payment of fee\u00a0– 80 lei.\u00a0\u00a0For category C -100 lei \/ set (each 50 lei \/ person).\u00a0 on behalf of the Foundation “PRO PIANO-ROMANIA” – IBAN: RO85RNCB0074029228740001 opened at BCR sector 3 (not postal) \/ CUI 9099960 or directly to the organizers (in the period May 1 to May 25, 2012). Required on the proof of payment: the name of the candidate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nThe payment receipts and confirmation for the documents will be sent up to <\/strong>March 10th, 2012, or after May 1st, 2012.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Between May 1 to May 25, 2012, registrations can be made directly to the organizers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In case of no-show at the festival fee is not refunded.<\/p>\n

VI. Travel expenses, accommodation will be covered by participants.<\/p>\n

VII. Will be awarded the following awards: \u00a0Excellence diplomas, certificates of Merit, honorary degrees, Special Awards (for each category) that will be hand delivered to participants in the award ceremony.<\/p>\n

VIII. All audio-video materials made by the organizers during the Festival belonged to them.<\/p>\n

IX. The jury will be composed of \u00a0Romanian \u00a0and International personalities\u00a0from the world of\u00a0music.<\/p>\n
